What is the Gospel
The Bible says the Gospel is ..."the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth" Romans 1:16. We can understand from this verse that the Gospel is something powerful and that it can bring salvation. What do we mean by salvation and who needs to be saved?
Another verse tells us that "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" 1 Timothy 1:15, so sinners need to be saved -
Who are sinners? Romans 3:23 tells us that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"
